So I missed Day 5 and on Day 6, I’m going to tell you about what inspired the current, nearly 50% complete entry.
You’ve seen before how weird my dreams can get. Well, dreams wind up being inspiration sometimes, and sometimes they happen to play a part in the inspiration as well. Well, in this case, the setting of Italy was inspired by a dream, only it was a Neo-Steampunk Italy with lots of bright lights and fancy buildings. Steampunk if it had reached today’s day and age, if you will.
After that, we pretty much come to me wanting to continue writing about magic and magic users (As practice for Cocytus) while establishing something new using a character (last) name I had sitting around in old notebooks for ever and ever. So, by taking one of the main characters of Cocytus and scrambling him together with a certain kleptomaniac witch from a certain game series, we now have a main character.
And, well, all my main narrator characters are Arthur Dents who show up at the wrong time and get sucked into something else. I just thought this guy should’ve been more down to earth this time.
